Retrofit Spring Promotion Full Terms and Conditions
3 Deals. You Choose.
1. Promoter
The promoter is Metro Performance Glass Limited, trading as Retrofit by Metro Glass (“Metro Glass”, “we”, “our” or “us”).
2. Promotion period
The promotion starts at 12:00am on 1 September 2026 and ends at 11:59pm on 30 November 2026.
To qualify, an eligible customer must accept an eligible Retrofit by Metro Glass quote during the promotion period.
3. Eligible customers
The promotion is available to residential customers purchasing retrofit double glazing directly from Retrofit by Metro Glass in New Zealand.
The promotion is not available to:
Trade, business or commercial customers
Metro Glass employees or members of their immediate households
Quotes accepted before the promotion period (Customers who have already accepted we cannot retrospectively apply the offer)
Quotes below the value of $5,000 including GST
Cancelled projects
Customers who do not meet the agreed payment terms or these promotional terms
4. Minimum job acceptance
A minimum accepted quote value of $5,000 including GST applies to each promotional option.
The minimum value is calculated after any approved quote adjustments but before the selected promotional benefit is applied.
5. Promotional offer
Eligible customers may choose one of the following offers:
10% off
A free performance glass upgrade
12 months interest free directly with Metro Glass
Only one offer may be selected per qualifying quote. The offers cannot be combined.
6. 10% discount
The 10% discount will be applied to the eligible Retrofit double glazing quote.
The discount:
Is applied directly to the accepted quote
Is not transferable
Is not redeemable for cash
Cannot be combined with the free performance glass upgrade, 12 months interest free or another promotional offer
7. Free performance glass upgrade
Customers selecting the free performance glass upgrade may choose one of the following:
Pay for Metro Low E Plus and receive Metro Low E Max
Pay for Metro Low E Max and receive Metro Low E Xcel
Only one upgrade option may be selected per qualifying job. Upgrade options cannot be mixed within the same job.
The following products are excluded:
Metro Low E Xtreme
Metro Low E SunX Grey
Metro Low E SunX Reflect
The customer must pay the applicable standard price for the qualifying base product. The free upgrade cannot be combined with the 10% discount, 12 months interest free or another promotional offer.
8. Twelve months interest free
The 12 months interest free offer is provided directly by Metro Glass.
Payments are split into four equal instalments:
25% when the quote is accepted
25% four months after quote acceptance
25% eight months after quote acceptance
25% twelve months after quote acceptance
No external finance company or credit check is required.
Payments may be made by:
Internet banking
Credit card by phone
Credit card or EFTPOS at a participating Metro Glass branch
If a scheduled payment is missed, Metro Glass may require immediate payment of the remaining balance or withdraw the interest free terms.
The 12 months interest free option cannot be combined with the 10% discount, free performance glass upgrade or another promotional offer. The four-instalment structure reflects the existing internal Metro Glass interest-free arrangement.
9. Existing quotes
A quote issued before the promotion period may qualify if:
It has not already been accepted
It remains valid
It meets all promotional eligibility requirements
It is accepted during the promotion period
The promotion cannot be applied retrospectively to completed work, previously accepted quotes or existing contracts that are cancelled and re entered to access the promotion.
10. Project changes and cancellations
If the customer cancels the qualifying project, all promotional eligibility will end.
If customer requested changes reduce the qualifying project value below $5,000 including GST, Metro Glass may withdraw the promotional benefit.
11. Other promotions
Unless Metro Glass agrees otherwise in writing, this promotion cannot be combined with:
Another advertised promotion
An additional promotional discount
Another free product upgrade
Cashback
External finance or external interest free offers
12. One offer per job
Only one promotional offer may be selected per customer, household, installation address and qualifying Retrofit job.
The selected offer cannot be transferred to another customer, property or job.
13. Offer changes
Once the customer has accepted the quote and selected a promotional option, the selected option cannot be exchanged for another promotional option unless Metro Glass agrees otherwise in writing.
14. Availability and product suitability
All products and upgrade options are subject to availability, technical suitability and confirmation by Metro Glass.
Metro Glass may recommend an alternative glass solution where the selected product is not suitable for the customer’s property, window configuration or project requirements.
16. General terms
Metro Glass reserves the right to vary, extend, suspend or cancel the promotion where reasonably necessary. Any eligible quote already accepted before a change will continue to be honoured under the terms applying at the date of acceptance.
In addition to these promotional terms, the customer’s Retrofit quote terms and Metro Performance Glass consumer terms and conditions apply.
