We had initially thought we would do the SW side of the house, but found retrofit double glazing more affordable than initially expected. We are now enjoying the benefits of double glazing and are very pleased with the result. We have found metro glass to have quick and efficient communications. Small defects were put right promptly and without any hassle. Installers were super organised and communicated with us throughout. The team were efficient and helpful. I cannot fault the guys who came and fitted the windows. They were courteous and friendly, and the covid protocols were adhered to with no fuss. They also assisted with a broken catch on one of our other windows. They were the nicest people. The windows were cleaned and there was no mess. Highly recommended. The price was reasonable and much the same as a quote we had a few years ago. This is the first summer that the windows have been in, and the house was not noticeably cooler but the summer has been much hotter. We look forward to not having the condensation on the inside of the windows freeze over in the winter

Outstanding in every way. We could not be more delighted with our experience at every stage of the installation. Pete was informative, clear, efficient and professional. From his initial explanation of what was involved, his support continued to helping us make choices that best suited our needs and through the entire process. His team of installers was equally professional - their huge smiles and joy in what they were doing combined with superb workmanship made them an absolute delight to work with. We love the way our house is now at a more constant temperature, condensation is minimised, noise transmission is minimal and we have reduced energy bills. These guys were were fantastic right from the get go. The sales guy was knowledgeable, and specific about what was available, and what was possible for our home. When the installation team turned up, they were careful and mindful of our property, and cleaned up each day before leaving. Thought that retro double glazing was going to too expensive. My first google search said $18K for tiny 100sqM house! But I decided to get a quote from Retrofit in Nelson. Amy, their sales rep made quick contact and within days had visited and gave me the quote. Was super happy with the price and the installation. Lots of options, I went with Argon filled in the busy areas and standard double in the rest. Winter special gave me $1K discount. Have already noticed the lack moisture and noise. Would highly recommended. Quick, Professional and good service.

Recently had double glazing done on our house (was single glazed aluminium framed). Couldn't be happier with the results! looks clean and tidy and really cuts down the noise from the busy road out front. I had my existing single glazed windows retro-glazed and have noticed such a difference. I have both timber frames and aluminium and the team were able to do all the windows no problem plus put in a cat door at the same time. House feels dry and cozy all the time now. Very professional job and a competitive price. Sam and the team provided great service too with excellent communication. Lovely bunch of guys. Would highly recommend 👌
